Plein Air season winding down with an Afternoon Local Estate Venue- Thursday the Sept.18th

Diane Gately  has invited our group to her place to come paint this week. She has lovely (acreage) property high on hill overlooking Henderson Bay (across from Canterwood entrance- kinda)- there is a lovely Barn on her property plus covered deck with view, and  some apple trees. Plan to arrive about noon at her place to work. If you didn't get the email with the directions/ address contact Anne or Feather via email or phone and we'll get you connected on this event.
Also only 2 weeks left of (official) plein air season for this year. That means it's time to party!!! The 3rd annual plein air exhibit at the Lodge in Mallard's landing IS the place to be for all those diligent Pal artists who have been working outdoors this summer ( participants of "plein air" group and "Drawing You In" events) and plan to show and share their work with the community. It's a great venue, a fantastic (wine tasting) opening and excellent opportunity to show new work locally.
If you already have work ready for the annual show in October please send Anne the info (size, title, ect.) so we can get started on inventory, tags... Before the show hangs in October, artists should consider creating a short bio/statement  for "the book" we display at the venue so visitors/collectors can associate with the artists whose work is in the show. If you haven't entered previous years or are not sure of the procedure, please contact Anne or I and we will get that info in your ebox ASAP.
