PAL Members' Show

On January 17, PAL members gathered at the Kimball Gallery for the Peninsula Art League Members’ Show reception. The judge for the show, Val Persoon, is an accomplished artist from Tacoma. Val was asked to give a critique of each awarded painting, and offered insightful comments and advice to all. She spoke of the importance of good quality framing. “Have your friends buy you pizza, and use your grocery money on framing,” she advised. She mentioned the high caliber of art at this show was something for which PAL could be proud.
