Peninsula Art League Meeting at New Location
The meeting yesterday evening at the newly constructed Boy's and Girl's club was very well attended, with an estimated seventy people. Seating was full, so more chairs were found and brought in by members. The building is lovely, with high ceilings and nice finish work, and the seating was comfy, if crowded.
We may have a double sized space next month or keep the same space, anticipating an average turnout of 40-50 people.
The presentations are always interesting, though having been compelled to leave early, I cannot report on this one.
Nestled on the western shores of Washington's Puget Sound, the Gig Harbor Peninsula has long been a magnet for artists. For nearly three decades the Peninsula Art League has supported and nurtured the area's diverse artistic community. This blog was created to showcase the works and events of the Peninsula Art League members.
